Ever since the "Landesgartenschau" (State Garden Show) of 1984, art has been a key piece of the Maxipark experience. For instance, Wolfgang Lamchés "Landschaftsband" (Landscape Strip), and of course the monumental walk-in sculpture of the "Glaselefant" (Glass Elephant).
